Flamerans
The great forest
This is the village's treasure! The 400 hectares offer wonderful opportunities for walks among the majestic oak trees. The forest has long provided firewood for the inhabitants of Flammerans.
From the 17th century onwards, only oak logs were reserved for the royal navy. The communal herd of pigs would eat acorns in the woods from the end of September until the first of January.
The Church of Saint-Léger
Listed as a Historical Monument, it dates from the end of the 18th century.
The choir is adorned with a sculpted altarpiece. On either side of the confessional are a 15th-century Virgin and Child and a statue of Saint Léger, the patron saint of the parish.
